We offer a plumbing kit consisting of all critical components along with an instructional video. Tanks and pipes need to be purchased locally, and plant can be installed with the help of any local plumber.  Wastes that can be managed: kitchen waste, food waste, green leafy waste such as lawn mowing waste, vegetable or fruit vendor waste, flour mill waste, food cessing industry waste, nonedible oil cake, etc.

Samuchit Steam-Cooker Stove

 
 
Fuel used: Charcoal or char briquettes
Quantity: 100-150 g per meal
Food items cooked: Up to three items at a time. Everything that is cooked by boiling or steaming can be cooked. For example, rice, pulses (dal), potatoes, corn, eggs, chicken, fish, etc. 
Cooking time: 1 hr (no attention is require once the fuel is lighted and cooker is set up on the stove). 
 
Unique Features: 
 
Smokeless operation. Can be operated safely in a modern urban kitchen, or in rural setting. 
 
Due to slow cooking on steam, taste and nutritional value is retained. 
 
In spite of slow cooking, due to attention-free operation, cook's time is saved.

Fuels used:

Fire wood, woody waste like coconut shells, ground nut shells, corn cobs, etc., agricultural waste like cotton stalks, arhar stalks, etc., biomass briquettes, biomass pellets.Ideal for hostels, temples, community kitchens, canteens, etc.

 
  • Smokeless operation, flame quality and intensity better than LPG.
  • Based on forced draft gasification, which is the cleanest way of using solid biomass fuels for thermal applications.
  • NO ELECTRICITY REQUIRED FOR GENERATING THE FORCED DRAFT, USES THE POWER OF STEAM.
  • Money Saving, particularly for institutional cooking and small eateries. About 50% reduction in fuel cost!
  • Time saving, particularly for institutional cooking and small eateries.
  • Simmering on low fire possible by switching from Forced Draft to Natural Draft, and controlloing fuel addition (not possible with other forced draft stoves, due to the danger of damaging the fan/blower).
  • Residual heat available for warming food, heating water, milk, etc. (not available with LPG stove).
  • Waste biomass can be used as fuel - renewable and environment friendly.

Khichadi of 15 kg of rice + 4 kg of vegetable can be cooked in 35 min, with 2 kg of firewood.
